  The information collected above (apart from your Username and Email Address) are all optional. You do not have to complete the fields that are optional.
  
  Your Username is required to uniquely identify you on Rallye-Info.com when you post messages or use the tipping competition. The username is viewable by all visitors.
  
  Your email address is used to confirm your identity when signing up and if we need to contact you regarding your membership (which is free). Your email address is not displayed at all on Rallye-Info.com
  
  At any time you can edit the information stored on our system except your Username and email address by using the "Edit Profile" page linked from every website page while signed in.

  For the message boards a cookie is stored with the users preference for the format they view them in (threads or posts), for viewing a thread of posts a cookie is stored for the order the user likes (time or structure), there is also a cookie for the order members would like the board sorted by (last or first).

  You can turn off your cookies by following your Browsers help on the matter. We do not recommend that you do this as many functions of Rallye-Info.com will not work properly.
   
• Server Logging & Statistics
  
  Rallye-Info.com automatically logs the user's IP Address (the number assigned to your machine whilst connected to the Internet to enable it to communicate with servers, if you are on a dial up modem, this number changes each time) and session info such as the duration of your visit and the type of browser / operating system used.
  
  This is recognised by our sever and is only used for system administration and to provide statistics which we use to evaluate use of the site, periods of high traffic and bandwidth usage.
  
  At no time are any personal details about you collected.
